Phoenix Industries is a public food warehouse
and distribution operation consisting of frozen, chilled, and
dry storage space. Additionally, Phoenix
leases individual space to select allied customers, which serves
to further support the overall operation. In total, Phoenix is
comprised of more than 300,000 square feet of buildings encompassing
some 14 acres of land.
Phoenix came into existence in 1978 as an operating
company. As a public warehousing and distribution complex, Phoenix
Industries serves an important link in the chain of logistics
from production to consumption. Producers and end - users alike
opt for public warehousing as a viable, cost - cutting option
to owning and/or long - term leasing of facilities which may only
be fully utilized for a few months out of a year. In utilizing
the services of a public warehouse, our customers only pay for
the space which their product effectively "needs" while in transit
on the supply train. Likewise, our customers only pay for services
actually needed while their product remains in our care, custody
and control.
